I’m surprised that spectators are even allowed anymore after Steve Scalise being shot and nearly killed a few years ago.

Steve Scalise was not shot at the event in 2017 but at a practice session (Republicans only present) before. Scalise would have died except that one of the other Congressmen was a medical doctor who did emergency first aid--the doctor is about to retire from Congress but played in the game last night (Wenstrup from Ohio).

Final score was 31-11 in favor of the Republicans. Lots of sloppy fielding on both sides.
