The race to determine who will be Donald Trump's running mate this November took a major step forward last week with the acceleration of vetting multiple potential candidates, but political insiders with deep knowledge of presidential campaigns say there is one possible name on the former president's shortlist Democrats "fear" the most.

"Trump is doing very well with Latino voters and the addition of Rubio would only strengthen that, which could spell the end for Biden," they said, adding that "Rubio would be a solid, safe pick, with a lot of upside."
He noted that Rubio was the only person under consideration who speaks another language, and that his ability to speak Spanish would help the Trump campaign reach Hispanic voters in many states where it could boost their competitiveness, including Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Virginia, New York, and Florida.

Sounds like the Dems have a plan to destroy Trump via Rubio. Probably some more of those ‘pictures’ that were going around years ago.
My spidey senses tell me Rubio would be an easy target for the DEMs nationally.

I like Rubio but he is NOT Natural Born. He is also too much of an establishment Republican (Deep state suckup, gives fealty to the globohomos). No thanks.
It has to bee someone that the Deep state fears more than Trump. Someone who knows where all the bodies are buried. Someone like General Michael Flynn.
Random observations:
He is better on TV than in person. Has limited range (like Sean Hannity but not as bad). Has an energetic optimism. He is a good age to complement Trump. Understands the nastiness in 2016 was just politics. He is handsome enough to appeal to people who are moved by that, and is Latino for those who count Cubans (the ones who don’t are probably Dem voters anyway). He has been through enough campaigns to know what to expect. His replacement in the Senate should be okay. He doesn’t scare non-Trump conservatives. He is not believable on the immigration issue.
He is from the same state as Trump which complicates things. His instinctive reflexes are more Neo-Con than MAGA. His loyalty will always be a bit suspect.
Conclusion: Not the worst pick for 2024, but not a good pick for the long-term dominance of MAGA.

Need to stay away from Senators as Presidential or VP candidates. If they win they rarely make good administrators as they are too wedded to the “Washington Way” which is MORE. More spending, more laws, more regulation, more and more government control, etc. Trump needs an outsider who has not been infected with the virus.
Or he's in league with them. I don't trust Rubio, any more than I trust Pierre Delecto. The words "Trojan Horse" come to mind.

When are these morons in media going to learn that there is no Latino or Hispanic? Every one of the countries associated with that have their own unique culture, as well as a hierarchy.
