Geeze...we’re going to Prague next month. I hope we don’t get lost. Many years ago I was in the Tokyo subway and was absolutely lost...so lost that I was truly scared.Luckily a nice Japanese man who spoke English noticed my plight and helped me.Were it not for him I’d still be there!

Yes, it’s fairly easy to get lost there around the Astronomical Clock area, probably spent a half an hour meandering through the side streets trying to find our hotel, even with Google Maps.

I drove down from Dresden in a rental car to Prague. I was lost, no GPS, so I followed a taxi and all of the sudden I'm in the middle of a pedestrian mall in the taxi lane, well I got pulled over and the cop said the fine was 500 koruna($25) to be paid on site, which I paid, no questions asked. Finally found my hotel in district 4, and it was next to a subway station and no problems, after that.

Also there is a great duck restaurant in that district, can't remember the name, but good food and service, and reletively reasonable. I guess look up Prague duck restaurant. Have a good time, Prague is a beautiful city.

I was in Prague last September when my son got married there. I knew there would be a lot of time where I would be by myself and I was very nervous about taking public transportation. However, I found it to be very easy. I was originally nervous about not being able to read Czech signs on the trams or metro. It wasn’t hard at all! And I’m a 62-year-old lady. 😂
