Very true. I know from experience.

And if you hit the trails in Georgia, you quickly realize that chiggers/redbugs love it.

I’m a Home Economics major

Some of my buddies and I took a home econ class in high school because that's where the girls were.

We were shocked at how interesting, practical, and fun it was.

And, yep, the girls were cute.

BTW, the rules of etiquette and table manners I learned in home econ served me extremely well in my career (I did a lot of client entertaining...mostly in NYC).

Mom's try to teach that stuff to boys but we don't usually listen. When you learn it in a class full of cute girls, you pay attention and it sinks in.

That class was infinitely better than the alternative at the time (study hall).
