If your local city doesn't generate enough revenue to fund its various operations then you will have to depend on the state or the feds.
I thought conservatism was all about local control. You can't have local control without local funding.
I guess the issue is allocation. Many municipalities and states are having back-breaking pension obligations created by former officeholders in anticipation of a lifetime of cashing in. Then there are all the other lard pools—democrat campaign promises, crooked RINO "developers" and assorted freebies.
