After all the clamor and even news reporting of the cousin on the jury who reported to her cousin that the verdict would be "guilty"...BEFORE the verdict was handed down...
Any developments? Crazy quiet...Even Hannity reported this on Friday night.
Not much faith in Trump’s legal team.
One look at the person who made the most and it was obvious it was a hoax not sure why the ny Supreme Court got so easily fooled took people five minutes to see something wasn’t right
Anyone could have made that post. It could be a hoax, merely an idiotic prank, by someone sympathetic to either side of the case. The jurors should definitely be investigated for any relationship to the poster, assuming s/he can be identified, and if such a relationship exists, it would seem to be prima facie evidence for a mistrial.
I thought it was posted on another court’s website. I’m not sure because I haven’t seen anything about it since the story came out. We all know this crooked judge will do whatever it takes to sweep this under the rug. He has been completely bias against Trump from the beginning. I don’t see him changing now. I just hope that Trump gets elected again in November so he can take his time paying this clown back for the dirty tactics he used against him.
What I want to know is why in the Hell is anybody other than the administrator allowed to post to the New York Supreme Court website, even a comment.
I tried to post an innocent, true, and complimentary comment to a girls Catholic high school facebook page about an experience I had over 50 years ago with a couple of their alumni, and the Admin blocked it. Well, good for them. Why doesn’t the NYSSC have at least that level of security?

I think i saw there were two similar posts, the day before the verdict. One of them specifically said that his cousin told him Trump was getting convicted TOMORROW.

I have no first hand knowledge on this, but I can speculate.
My belief is that right now the best attorneys that the DNC can buy are working overtime on multiple compelling arguments that will allow the judge to document why this does not rise to the level of a necessary mistrial. Furthermore, you will not hear anything, until that documentation is absolutely bullet proof and turned over by the DNC to the kangaroo court judge.
I did some searching and Saturday is the last time any MSM mentioned the story.
But I can't imagine how Merchan would respond to one of those in such a serious way without some initial investigation.
He has to have some awareness that there is a high level of skepticism about the fairness of the trial. And this action by him adds to that. Perhaps he simply doesn't care about the appearance of impropriety. He certainly has done nothing to mitigate it.
HMMMMMM….Funny how it disappeared in A flash! Anything positive or good for Trump gets dismissed lickety-split but if it’s bad, then they continue the narrative until people are choking on it. I say that it did happen, but they’re trying to sweep it under the rug. No judge would be this incredible stupid to forward this bombshell information to the opposite team without verification ….that would be in itself a mistrial of judgment and justice. I think it really happened but they’re trying to hide the truth.
Oh and by the way….this was posted on the corrupt FACEBOOK which probably would take some pulling of teeth to get the identification of the poster’s info. And if it did happen, they’re gonna drag this baby until they sentence Trump then they’ll release the true identity of the connection of this person and the juror. Or it well could be that the juror might be the poster! But something stinks.

The NY State Supreme court looked at the whole trial and the backlash and basically came to the conclusion that this who effort was a mistake and needs to go away.
So they put together an easy “out” via the mistrial path. IOW, get rid of this before we have to rule against the judge.

You don’t get a mistrial once a verdict is reached. Trump’s lawyers are preparing their appeal. If they succeed there may be a new trial, but not before then. Should that come to pass, it won’t be this year.
The Supreme Court in NYS is a trial court and not the highest state court, or court of last resort, the Court of Appeals is, I believe. Also, Judge Merchan is an acting justice of the NYS Supreme Court, though I’m not sure that is the capacity in which he heard the case.
If true, it would be grounds for a mistrial that even Merchan couldn’t decline. So it has to have been more to the story.
