Progressives are horrified to hear about 1700s-1800s British mental health treatments at places like Bethlehem (pronounced “Bedlam,” yes, that place) Hospital in London. A violently mad creature like this would have been fed and clothed, but stapled to a brick wall with a length of chain so he could not hurt himself or others.
OK liberals, show me how this violent madman is better off today, dead, than he would have been living in Bedlam? Not to mention those innocent citizens he terrorized, or the computer monitor.
