I like to watch my old High School's hockey games online. The girl's team has come a long ways in 10 years. The boys have as well, but it is more noticeable with the girls. In the championship games the girls won the game with two goals that had incredible passing to set it up, and another that had a great individual effort with three slick moves to score.

The boys won their championship based on speed and tenaciousness. The goals IIRC were just getting on the net fast and guys in position to put in a rebound. Very scrappy.

Especially in basketball, I notice that they're much faster now and they're making better shots now. Must be due to the training and all the travel leagues they're in.
