make that seven threes for Caitlin Clark 𤯠pic.twitter.com/zijJkHnOY1â Indiana Fever (@IndianaFever) June 7, 2024
WNBA all-time single-game scoring record is 53 points. (Done twice)
She was 7 for 13 from 3, and 1 for 2 from 2, so she was pretty much going from deep.
What does that headline mean?
Did she get 30 points, or miss 30 points?
now if she can only learn to dunk, she’ll drive them all over the edge...
Well, looks like teams knew this would happen and so their strategy was like the 90âs NBA. Hammer the star. But with the increased scrutiny on them lately, they had to back off a bit and she burned them.
Itâs only because she is white. Therefore, she is privileged and can score 30 points in a game. /s
“The No. 1 overall pick from this year’s WNBA draft dropped 30 points in a 85-83”
Wait, “drops” 30 points as in she should have had 30 more?
Or “drops” the way they say in the getto in lieu of “released” or “created”?
Is this ebonics, or should she have done better?
Annnnnnd, nope, still donât care⌠sorry.
This is one of those time when I actually think a woman can compete with the men at least on the 3 point shots.
My suggestion — Let her compete in the NBA all-star three point shooting tournament.
Caitlin Clark could even win this competition.
Willy bully for Caitlin!

Basketball.
James Naismith, a [white] Canadian-American physical-education director, invented the game of basketball in 1891.
So SOME âcultural appropriationâ (like straight hair and tap-dance) is okay for those with most-favored minority status, but not vice-versa (Rachel Dolezal excepted).
Caitlin Clark brings WNBA out of the closet (so to speak) as a game watched mostly by middle-aged lesbians to water cooler conversations across the nation by beating black athletes at a game they, due most likely to upbringing and several hundred yearsâ selective breeding while enslaved for traits like endurance, heat tolerance, strength, agility, and the race hustlers try and make Caitlin out to be an interloper, a pariah.
Sheâs crossed a line here. Not since the days of Bill Walton have all-American wypipo excelled at this game dominated by black Americans.
No, I donât âdoâ organized sports, never have. But Caitlinâs in our faces 24/7 on ALL media - for all the wrong reasons, I think.
... and it was thrilling for both people who bought tickets to watch the game.
“Caitlin Clark was, as she usually is whenever she steps on the court, the story of the night”
Meh, just another flavor-of-the-month media darling.
Maybe Carter was high on speed.
I’ll bet the WNBA’s 1800 fans were thrilled.
I read today she is not being considered for the Olympics team. WTF?!
I may have missed it in that piece but they had a sold out crowed of over 20K. I never used to watch WNBA now I watch to see a White shooter that is religious and has a boyfriend.
