Great idea!
Posted on 06/07/2024 1:46:43 PM PDT by Kevin in California
Just saw an ad on Facebook that I thought was a great idea. It was what looked like $100 bill folded in half. When you opened it , it says Trump 2024 on the other side. Perfect to drop in the grocery store aisle or any other busy place with people. I know, it's littering but oh well. Wished I knew how to post a picture here. Anyway, I bought 40 of them.

Sounds like a great way to get someone’s hopes up and then let them down.

Yes. Not a nice trick these days.

The only problem is that Republicans are not allowed to litter and will be castigated for it if they do.
Meanwhile, Democrats are allowed to turn entire cities into trash heaps while being praised for "trying their best with their hearts in the right place".

Maybe print others that on the inside have the following image with the phrase "Just like electing me, you thought finding this piece of paper would make your life better":

I get the spirit of the idea, but that would be a terrible thing for some poor person in the grip of the Biden economy to find.

It sounds nice, but some people leave stuff like that with a Gospel message on the inside for wait staff and restaurants. Let’s just say they’re not well received.

I don’t get it. We already know he is running for President.
I think that would only piss people off.

Was going to make the same observation. I remember these gospel tracts that looked like money or credit cards in the 70s.

Those are annoying. People used to leave them when my wife was waiting tables. Open them up and it was some religious crap. And no tip.
You don’t want to be one of those people.

Back in Jr Hi days, reading Secret Service/Treasury Department library books in the Summer; at the time it was illegal to have images of money.
The head of the Treasury Department had a 6 foot hooked rug of a 100 dollar bill. They had siezed it as a violation of that.
I don’t know if/how that has changed today. We have high rez cell phones, super printers, etc. and I think I see a lot of images today that seem to violate those old rules.
I also think that more recently copiers/scanners were set to recognize currency, and refuse to process it. (They could call the feds if they were on the net, it seems, haha.)
But we do see the 3 dollar Bills, with the other Bill on them.

How much for 40?
It might still be effective to leave a real, say $1, bill folded, and with the Trump message stuck on the back.
If only Soros would fund that, I would use bigger bills (and keep most of them myself).

I’m guessing the point is to leave for likely or certain TDS sufferers/Biden voters to get their hopes up and then crush them.
