Douglas Adams' send-up of AI had the most powerful computer that could be designed and constructed give a seemingly meaningless answer, then when asked to explain it, told the designers that they'd have to ask the even more powerful computer, and how to build it.
BTW, geeks, I regard that late author's big-selling "Universe" series of books as one long banana-peel gag.
