My dad retired from the US Army. In 1970 we were entering onto the base one day when I was around 10 and the MPs saluted as we drove through. My dad taught me then to always return a salute and if you salute someone then you hold your salute and until they return the salute.
Frankly, not even sure that was a true salute on Biden’s part. More like a little wave.
I’m assuming that they typically WOULD be saluting back to their CIC?

After looking at that clip a few more times I believe Biden actually thought there was a chair there for him to sit down on and it’s also possible he had some type brain freeze I guess and that’s why she took him out of there quickly.
What that really shows is he doesn’t even have the stamina to get through a brief ceremony of any kind. I would be surprised if he was able to focus one or two hours a day on anything, and certainly not intently. He does not have the physical or mental capability of carrying his job, and his condition is only getting worse.
That is so embarrassing. And at a ceremony to honor one of the most important battles in U.S. history, no less.
The memorial of those brave men who stormed the beach at Normandy deserves better.

I get your point but the moral collapse started well before that and continues to spread. Our politics are a mess but it reflects in many was the underlying social rot. And its very difficult, if not impossible, to undo.
