Is there an actual link — anywhere — to the data that shows this?

That’s one hell of a big elephant to be playing in the snow and yet not leaving any documented tracks. People who make outrageous claims — no matter how desperately we’d like to believe those claims — need to provide SOMETHING to back it up with and not just some vague description of how this allegedly occurred.
