That’s why they’re so popular with ordinary people.

Rebecca Lobo did not get that treatment. Of course, she was a better college player than WNBA player.

My friend was an alcoholism counselor. He had a few drunks who played for the local women’s basketball team. They all drank after each game at the local lesbian bar.

What does that tell you?

The NBA formed the WNBA for political protection, but now it's a public relations albatross. I love unintended consquences.

I've seen the ESPN people talking about Caitlin Clark recently and making a lot of fuss over the fact that she took a hard foul - apparently that matters to some folks because she's white and the player who fouled her is black. Seriously? If you're a scoring threat in basketball, you're going to get fouled no matter what color you are.

But at the end of the day, who cares? It's women's basketball.

This is the type of head coach Caitlin Clark needs...

Bill Laimbeer (and assistant coach Rick Mahorn)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Laimbeer

Coaching career: Detroit Shock (2002–2009)

In the middle of the 2002 WNBA season, Laimbeer took over the head coaching position for the Detroit Shock. A year later, he led the franchise to its first WNBA championship and was named Coach of the Year that year. It marked the first time in WNBA history that a team other than Los Angeles or Houston won the title. On September 9, 2006, Laimbeer led the Shock to their second WNBA championship against the Sacramento Monarchs in five games. Two years later, on October 5, 2008, Laimbeer led the team to its third league championship in six years by defeating San Antonio.

The WNBA needs to be invaded by a bunch of ‘trans’ women.

I think they’re jealous because she is a rookie who will be outearning everyone in the league and will be getting all the publicity, The fact that she is white and straight adds fuel to the fire

That’s true...The WNBA is a league of Lesbians...I’d love to see a D3 male basketball player go to the WNBA and tell them that he’s transgender and demand to be in the WNBA. 🤓
