The radical Left in this country is brainwashed. If their leaders tell them that Trump has been honestly convicted of Federal crimes, they embrace that as the gospel and scream it from the mountaintops.

That may not sway many voters but it may animate and motivate everyone on the radical Left to go to the polls. And it may even encourage them to undertake acts of violence that keep others FROM the polls.

And who knows, with the media screaming that Trump is a convicted felon, it is possible that some ignorant rubes who were undecided fall for the "Trump is a convicted felon" meme.

Crashing and burning because your ideas don’t work. And like all rulers down the ages, the last thing that occurs to you is that your power is overweening, your ideas are stupid, and your programs Make Things Worse.

This is the money line. The Progessives/Left has false assumptions about reality and how it works.

Those false assumptions lead to bad policies, which lead to disasters.
