The problem is that people who are not political junkies(like us) have no idea about anything you just stated. They just heard that Trump got convicted of 34 Felonies. OOH that sounds bad. Not sure what they were for.

These are not stupid people(maybe some are). They just do not like politics. In fact, many HATE politics. They go about their life taking care of business, so to speak. They go to work. Take the kids to school, soccer, field hockey, swimming lessons. They go out to dinner once a week. They get home and make dinner or pick up dinner on the way home.
They turn the TV on watch something mindless for an hour or two and then go to bed. Then the next day they repeat.

However, they vote. They may probably do not vote in the primary because they do not pay attention to politics. They vote every first Tuesday in November every other year. Unless they are too busy living. They do vote in presidential elections because its their civic duty.

I just described about 75% of the people I work with in my office. Most of them make six figure incomes too. They pay a lot of taxes.

Most Germans in the 1933 went the same way. Major other worries with the depression and shortages. Just didn’t think it was worth paying attention to.......

They might have had a different opinion by 1944.

Obama/Biden have taken us to 1930’s Germany. People better start noticing because we are running out of time.
