It's near impossible to sell a corporate Mexican menu to actual Mexicans who are invading over California.
yeah....well, at least we have pollo loco here in Texas so that’s good enough for us. Wish we had wahoo’s and pick up stix.
I’m curious as to whether criminal justice reform has increased dine and dash incidents in states the way it has theft of goods. The media has downplayed skyrocketing thefts of goods. It hasn’t even looked at dine and dash in the aftermath of the decriminalization of retail theft under $1K.
Under Bidenomics, fast food has become a luxury.
French fries at McDonalds soared from $0.99 to $3.99.
In 2017, when Donald Trump was president

The company is throwing a huge amount of weight behind the effort, increasing its already massive national advertising budget by 20% starting in 2018.
I’ve never heard of any of these names. I’m from Sacramento but haven’t been back there in a long time. It all sounds like TGI Friday’s and that similar Mexican chain restaurant that I can’t remember now.
You can always go to Burger King which has a 5 dollar whopper meal. That’s a decent price.
Five dollars for a one dollar burger? Such a deal.
Great job, California. You made it too expensive to do business there.
Did he stop pushing Amnesty? If not, I don’t care what happens to his businesses.

That’s solid thinking right there! Pay an inflated price, for an underwhelming/minimal menu choice, that was a fraction of the cost 3-4 yrs ago!
How do people think??
Rising costs in California yeah socialism causes it every time the UK is locked into it long ago now it’s roots are getting deeper here.
Even here thousands of miles from the border Mexican restaurants outnumber anything else 10 to 1. I think we have reached peak Mexican.
Oh brother. You can’t by gas for 15 cents a gallon either. It’s 2024, not 1954.
Here in our Silicon Valley town, we’ve got four long-time Mexican restaurants nearby, two in town and two just down the road. All have been in business for decades, one dating back to 1958. Because of the extensive Spanish and Mexican land-grant ranchos here, Mexican food goes back 150 hundred years. It’s not just a flash-in-the-pan here. Being in business that long and weathering the coof pandemic tells you the food is good. My son and I had lunch on the patio at one of our favorites yesterday and it was excellent. The only problem is the price — two lunch plates, two beers and tip was $75.
Our best and famous “Chef Chus” restaurant (obviously Chinese) is celebrating its 54th year! Chef Chu still comes to dining room to greet his customers and chat. It’s funny that I run into him at my favorite local coffee shop some mornings, too.
Yes El Pollo Loco rules. We’ve eaten there twice in the last week...Allen Texas...:)
Sacramento area has JimBoy Taco. Pretty good too. I think Roseville, area too.....all up that way.

California does do some things right. Like rioting and driving businesses out.....they are number 1 and proud of it.
