You know, I just thought of something.
Everyone says Indians are super-racist and only hire other Indians.
But my boss of one year (out of seven total) in a Fortune 50 is Indian, and he hired me and a white woman for the top two positions in one of his teams.
I work with a lot of Indians. For the most part, good, honest people.
That’s really nice to know. But I’m not surprised. I don’t think he got his great job by being prejudiced in his hiring practices or other functions. In my experience, the higher. you go, the the more merit-based you are. My Japanese friend’s sister recently became some extremely high-level exec at J.P. Morgan Chase.
