"We are aware of an altercation that occurred in Baltimore (BWI) on May 28," Spirit Airlines said in a statement. "Our vendor has suspended four of their employees involved pending an investigation into the matter. We do not tolerate violence of any kind, and we will take appropriate action as necessary following the completion of the vendor's investigation."
It’s just not worth it, I’ll stick to American Airlines, thank you very much. They aren’t perfect, but it’s a much more pleasant experience.
it’s always them
In my dreams I board a Pan Am Clipper at Dinner Key and fly down to Rio. First class of course, pampered the whole way.
I couldn’t agree more - despise the entire process of having to take off my shoes, having my personal things rifled through, be irradiated in the governments radiation machine - and then getting patted down, which seems to happen to me every time I fly somewhere - happened on my latest trip, apparently there was something in my hair that necessitated an entire body pat down. My son had to empty the contents of his wallet, spread out on a table - and then he too was patted down.
If it wasn’t for family living across the country from me, I’d never fly again. I’ve told my family to NEVER book me on Spirit, Frontier or SunCoast airlines - only the larger carriers like American.
I recently flew Jet Blue to New York - highly recommended by a neighbor that flies to Florida and only takes that airlines - the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever been in in my entire life - old and very lumpy, and this was a five-hour flight and we were in the top-tier class, which is “business” on Jet Blue. Never again.
Ditto for Delta - filthy inside, trays were dirty - seats were very uncomfortable - and we’d upgraded to first class with airline points. Food was old and obviously had been sitting for a long time - we barely got any service at all.
American Airlines is the best, IMO, of all the large carriers- but these days I expect the planes to be dirty, overcrowded and uncomfortable. Hawaiian Airlines was very nice too.
I saw the video on X and figured that was customers fighting not employees. Such a Vibrant Culture!

LOL!
Southwest has hired DEI company recruiters and their service personnel at other airports are looking and acting like those at Atlanta.
“Southwest has hired DEI company recruiters and their service personnel at other airports are looking and acting like those at Atlanta.”
If an airline doesn’t want the FAA doing an anal exam of their books, then you do as told.
(so much for a free country)
Don’t get me started on the Atlanta airport.
Not just the FAA, but the entire deep state, SEC, FBI (our new Gestapo), State Dept, DOJ, White House, etc.
Bush Jr. had the chance to CLEAN OUT the Trash in DC (just as the mods have the chance to clean out the Operatives), but Bush Jr. didn’t do it.
Now we pay the price for that.
Just another example of how our country is greatly enhanced by diversity!

That made me think of the old original Piedmont Airlines that shut down in 1989.
Of course, we don’t know what the customer did to provoke such an “aggressive” response, but it would have to have been pretty bad - something like pulling a gun - to justify what happened. Doesn’t that airport have a security staff to handle belligerent customers?
We are the only country in the world where passengers have to take off their shoes going through airport security. It’s time to end that.
Lolz
Bush Junior had the chance to do something or anything good but he was a bureaucrat in the highest office. Islam is a religion of peace. We need to protect the homeland. We never had a homeland before Bush Junior. It was a made up concept so we would accept a security apparatus.
