The issue now is, with a "felony conviction", will many SOS in the states feel like they can now "legally" remove him from their ballots?
If he is removed "just" from blue states, that will almost certainly result in low (R) turnout....which means, down ballot takes a hit too.
In the blueist of blue states commifornia, there are 11 (R) House Reps.
Can the U.S. House remain in Republican hands without 11 (R) reps from CA? Or the 10 from blue commie New York? Or the 2 from blue Oregon, or the 2 from blue Washington or the 2 from blue Colorado? Etc., etc.
This travesty of blatant election interference must be overturned soon for there to be any chance for our votes to count.
NOTHING IN THE CONSTITUTION TO PREVENT A FELON FROM BECOMING PRESIDENT
Repukes are idiots. Pass a law that bans any federal dollars from going to states that have convicted former Presidents. Pass another law that legalizes all the immigrants but makes it illegal for them to leave the state of New York. Let each law work its way through the courts. In the meantime the President can have an executive order fully enforcing the law, let that also work it’s way through the courts (while continuing the enforcement of it). No sense having power if you’re constantly worried about how people will react to how you use it. Republicans are consta to making execuses. Pass the laws and let the courts sort it out. In the wordlst case it’ll ensure Precident for the same actions not being used against you.
