President Joe Biden has suggested he will appoint progressive justices to the Supreme Court if he wins a second term in the White House in November.
"The next president, they're going to be able to appoint a couple of justices... Look, if in fact we're able to change some of the justices when they retire and put in really progressive judges like we've always had, tell me that won't change your life," he said during a campaign rally in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
(snip)
"Because you voted, I was able to keep my commitment to appoint the first Black woman on the United States Supreme Court—Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson," he said.

As to the last bit...surface characteristics shouldn't be the criteria. But Biden's handlers are well aware of this, and are playing to what they view as the idiots.
But the bolded comment is bothersome because of the impliction/implied intent imho. Imagine 2 or 3 Supreme Court justices of the "caliber" we've seen on display in the 'hush money trial' ala Juan Merchan--corrupt, compromised, blinded by ideology and animus. And before you say the Senate would stop it....Collins, Murkowki, and Graham voted to confirm Brown-Jackson despite her obvious shortcomings.
The POTATUS didn’t issue anything.
Deep State did through its puppet POTATUS.
Not all Justices like hunting in rural Texas like U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia.
Biden can pack the court.
Going to be able? That is an insulting comment to anyone currently sitting on the Supreme Court.
Biden acts like a vulture waiting for these people to wither and die so he can game the system with leftist judges. Disgusting.
Potato head is taking lessons on sentence structure from Dr. Jill.
The president does not appoint, but nominates.
The Senate provides advice and consent before the person is formally appointed to the Court.
But of course, in Joe’ world...
He means Obama and himself.
What a jerk, Biden is!
All the more reason for Trump to win!
Some people are emotional idiots though and that’s a problem for sure. They would rather the court decide on moral grounds based on some radical ideology than the US Constitution and sound logic.
More than ever, we need to win this n3xt election! The ,eft are stone cold serious about “fundamentally changing” the nation, and that of course means controlling every aspect, including the Supreme Court.
The following pretty much sums up the situation
A man refuses to believe because he hates the truth, and loves darkness rather than light. He refuses to see the truth, because he is content with his own lie and desires not goodness. He says, “Evil, be thou my good”

BUY MORE GUNS
Before the democrats are done the Supreme Court will be replaced by a committee to handle all laws comrades.

For when the time comes
If you read about how the Communists took over in the Eastern Bloc, after the war, especially Czechoslovakia, you’ll see the parallels.
“really progressive judges like we’ve always had”
Joe got something right...
Perhaps Joe will nominate Merchan for the Supreme Court...
Assuming Merchan gives Joe 10% of his ill-gotten slush fund.
FDR tried that stunt, didn’t work out well for him.
After the upcoming election there will first be a trial and then sentencing for this piece of human debris who has done so much to ruin this nation.
There should be trials for all his appointed ‘helpers’ and enablers. What they have accomplished in under four years is so grossly evil that the death penalty would be the least that could be leveled against them.
Then attention should be centered on the worst Congress imaginable that has sat back with their thumbs up their arses while this Nero fiddled.
Indeed it’s a repeat performance
