There was an explosion of videos last year of women going on about why they left their man and if you’re going to be with me you need to check 5 dozen checkboxes - AS A MINIMUM STANDARD. So, 6’ tall, 6 pack abs, 6 figure salary, be kind, make me laugh, PAY MY BILLS, etc etc etc.. The insanity seemed to be epitomized by one of the women using the term ‘sprinkle sprinkle’ - imo implying that you need to be covering every base so she can just live ‘her lifestyle’, work free, while having everything paid for...because ‘she is the prize’, with nothing in return.
This year the backlash is from men, basically making fun of it all and making videos doing the same thing in reverse. So men are now in a “soft guy era” deserving of “drizzle drizzle” - e.g. “If you’re not working out every day, paying the dinner bill, respecting me as king, making me sandwiches, having a spotless house, etc, etc, then you’re not worth my time, I won’t bother dating you - you need to understand my worth!”.
Some women get the joke. Others are getting mad, how dare they? ...without understanding the irony, it’s exactly what they do.
I just searched youtube for “sprinkle sprinkle”. Apparently, the one video I saw was typical.
The “sprinkle sprinkle” videos all seem to feature a bunch of highly undesirable, highly made-up, high maintenance, low value women who seem to have spent a fair amount of time being a garden tool and now think the world owes them a living.
