I noticed an interesting phenomenon when I was young and recently divorced. If I was in the company of a woman (even just a friend) other women became interested. When I played guitar at parties and clubs and a woman approached and showed interest, I’d suddenly find myself standing in the midst of a group of women seeking my attention.

It seems that many women gauge a man’s attractiveness based on whether other women are interested/involved.
