Pomegranates are hard to eat, but pomegranate juice is fine. William Li , MD mentions it in his terrific book, Eat to Beat Disease.

Book is an easy read with terrific information. I learned that we all have cancer cells in our bodies and certain foods kill them, especially purple potatoes, green tea and walnuts. I now consume those every day. Purple potatoes are hard to find, as they should be organic. Luckily I have a NaturalGrocer in the neighborhood and they almost always have them. Safeway has them too but not organic.

Li recommends steaming veggies to preserve nutrients. I’ve always done that, easiest way to cook too.
