People make mistakes. The cop made plenty.

Real men used to be able to let stuff go, and move on with their lives. Looking to exact revenge for this is the sign of a simple mind.

There’s no revenge motive here. The man swore out a false warrant. That’s a felony, no matter what else. He’s not fit to be a commissioned police officer, with all the deadly power that comes with the position. It’s just a matter of time before he kills someone if he keeps his job.

The cop filed felony charges and stuck to them. There’s no shaking hands after that. Pig should be impoverished and imprisoned just as he wanted to do to Scheffler and that’s not revenge it’s prevention. How exactly do you think this situation would have gone for someone without a publicist and lawyer on speed dial?
