Major League Baseball (MLB) will not be a true DEI warrior until it also includes the records of all professional baseball leagues, past and present:

Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB)
Korean Baseball Organization (KBO)
Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM)
Mexican Baseball League (LMB)
Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP)
Australian Baseball League (ABL)
Cuban National Series Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL)
European Association of Professional Baseball (EAPB)
The Italian Baseball League (Serie A)

Until then MLB will continue to a racist organization. < /sarcasm>

Decades ago, when I was a fan of baseball, I couldn't get enough of baseball history and baseball stats. Being from the Pittsburgh area I was keenly aware of the tales of the great Josh Gibson, the Homestead Grays, and the Pittsburgh Crawfords.

Over decades of searching, however, I never could find stats from the Negro Leagues, with the explanation that Negro League stats weren't assiduously recorded and archived.

So, what has changed that apparently voluminous statistics from the Lego Leagues have suddenly materialized with assurances of complete authenticity by the League that paid Angel Hernandez to umpire games for over 30 years?
