One of the more interesting aspects of the NYC trial from the perspective of the bigger picture aka “Q” op was how thoroughly the whole thing was setup - getting Cohen to plead to an election crime so then they could try Trump as “accomplice” and have Merchan instruct the jury accordingly. It was noted that while Brad Smith was not allowed to testify, it left only Cohen and prosecutors as only input + guidance the jury was to receive.

This reminds me of how the DS destroyed Arthur Andersen--at the time, one of the largest accounting firms in the world.
Andrew Weissmann (same as on the corrupt Mueller investigation years later) coerced a Partner in Andersen's Houston office into pleading guilty to a felony in conjunction with Enron's shredding of documents.
This was one of many thousands of Partners worldwide; but, the guilty plea was used by scumbag Weissmann to accuse and convict the entire Partnership.
The entire firm, tens of thousands of innocent lives and careers, was destroyed instantly, as a firm convicted of a "Securities violation" is not allowed by the SEC to participate in public accounting.
SCOTUS overturned the verdict 3 years later; but, the firm was long gone.
