Thank you, Bob. I concur.
I’ve also lived prescient (since 1980 FWIW) expectant of a sea change against grave losses, in the direction of darkened American institutions. The ballot never brought change, and POTUS Trump was the first president to try to address it. The rage against him only increased the decadence.
Americans are not feared by their overlords, since the infamous Sixties, when they actually worked. Why would they be?
Coups are now regular political public relations events. Can you believe it? It is quite acceptable to keep it that way. Free speech is pricey. People stay silent. Heads down.
Sweet, for only one side. That has been my personal observation.
(I thought I had responded to this but apparently not. This tablet is acting funny tonight!)
No, the ballot has not recently proved an effective vehicle for governing. The Republican Party has become a bit of an embarrassment, hardly even rising to the level of 'loyal opposition'❗ ...but a Trump type activist could correct that.
Trump Derangement Syndrome has proved real and, while fostered by the 'Rat Party', its depth defies explanation except the label 'spiritual'.
