Other ancient groups that practiced human sacrifice include the Druids, Aztecs and Mayans. I’m not sure if any of them specifically practiced child sacrifice but they sacrificed adults. I haven’t done an exhaustive search on the practice so there are likely, other groups as well, who engaged in that behavior.
It’s worth pointing out that the denunciation of child sacrifice by Old Testament prophets like Isiah, was a departure from a common practice that prevailed in the area at the time. And their rejection of the practice is one of the things that differentiated the Judeans from surrounding peoples.
Yes, my point exactly. While I don't suppose current day Palestinians carry on such practices, I do note the Hamas barbarians last October ripping babies from their mother's womb and torturing and killing them violently. sigh
