Excellent post one problem I see is that many doctors enjoy great success after a period of years even 10 years can make them wealthy.

At that point many could create their own practice and usually they do it with other doctors. But, it appears they never lose the desire for more and more bucks. Ignoring what they were tasked and swore to do: do no harm and put the patient first. They do neither.

I don't think that includes my doctors....🤷‍♂️ Their office staff❓

I might point out that, at least in my area, many doctors actually work for a larger organization - either a hospital corporate entity or some large medical org that supports a number of practices and provides office staff and operational facilities... also legal representation, etc.

For example, my primary care Dr works with Optum, a huge health care provider organization. I am not always happy with them but I know govt does not make their job any easier. Years ago my Dr had a receptionist, that was about it. Now the govt requires a huge office staff and mountains of paper work... organizations like Optum make it more workable and financially feasible for the individual practice.
