I'm just hoping my buddies fishing offshore don't go too far. When they hit the apex (mid-point) of the Gulfstream they are about 50 miles from Cuba depending on where they are.

Sometimes that's where the fish are.

NO sightings yet of Russian ships.....

Usually, we are not that close either since these ships can throw off a huge wake.

I noticed that the Russians didn't try to deploy their lone aircraft carrier, the Admiral Combustov.

I guess that they didn't have an ocean going tugboat that was available and sufficiently flame proof.
