I had to take a minute and poke my head out of the digital foxhole to check for any bagster tributes. For some reason I thought he passed 6/14/2023, but in running across my files I think it was 6/7 (found a meme of him with “The Cold War’s over; drop your iron curtain, baby!”).
There’s so much going on, I haven’t had time to meme up a good tribute. I dug up a couple vintage comments below (That second one gives a bit of pause if he was a bioweapon victim; 9/20 COVID test, then gone 6/2023??). RIP, Bags.

I remember when some idiot, not a regular Q-er, called bagster a “pompous jackal”. So I called him that of course in admiration. iirc he may have used it as a tagline but I could easily be wrong.
