He made a mockery of satanic misuse of humanity by using a human to send the Savior.

I listened to an amazing sermon yesterday from Adrian Rogers. This passage is from Job 9:32-33. Job is considered to be the old book in The Bible, having been written before Moses wrote the Torah (First five books).

32) For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him, that we should come to trial together.

33 There is no arbiter (mediator) between us, who might lay his hand on us both.

The point of the mediator is someone who could be on equal footing with God and a man (Job). Someone like a "God-Man", you know, like "Fully God" and "Fully Man!"

Re Job:

Exactly! Only Christ can, and will, judge us. And that is why he lived a fully human life, in all its stages, to sanctify every moment and undergo every temptation. He had to be a fetus, and a child, and a teen, and a man, and to experience death. He made every moment of our lives holy.

It really is the greatest story ever told!

The symbol of the Cross: at the top the sign "King (of the Jews - INRI)" and the Head (of the Church)... the cross arm: the left is judgment, the right is mercy, the crossing center the pure heart, signifying Jesus' right to administer both... the trunk of the Cross pointing the way for the Comforter to minister God's Grace, His legs unbroken... the feet nailed firmly, proving that He will never abandon nor forsake His creation... the base set firmly in the ground, the 'dust' from which man was formed, the complete upright trunk indicating the path of God's unswerving agape love top to bottom to ever minister to His creation.

A true sign of Hope for all who will!
