I am wondering about a poster on Telegram, and hope you all can advise me.

He goes by the handle Q) The Storm Rider/Official Page.

Trustworthy speculation, or fame-seeker?

I can't help you. I don't use telegram and I have never heard of the person. The name sounds at least a little dodgy.

I used to read a lot on Telegram. Q the Storm Rider is a faker. It claims insider info. Doesn’t pan out. Insiders don’t post on Telegram. Not just my assessment, but others on Telegram as well. Now so much of Telegram is only visible for registered users I don’t bother with it at all.

I don't believe he is trustworthy. Possible option is fame-seeker, but I believe most likely psyops to direct/distract. BUT - it doesn't have to be either/or because there's always the answer 'BOTH'.

Some FReeQs  used to send me links to him a long time ago. For awhile I followed the links and couldn't find anything to use.

The last time I followed a Q) The Storm Rider (long ago) was a post advising the linked video showed what was about to happen (The Storm).

It was nightime black and white (moonlight recording) footage of people in light pleasure craft who  barely make it ashore in a tight little inlet surrounded by steep elevations (looked like an inlet carved in tall rounded rocky/hilly shore).

The force of the water entering this little inlet was extremely dangerous - they were lucky to make it in and the fact that they tried meant it was more dangerous on the open water (storm?). A few boats made it to this little inlet (looked East coast?) and the 'survivors' were exhausted but checking on each other, and they helped one another drag the boats along the sand above the waterline.

Behind them, the thrashing water abruptly sucked out of the inlet. Another FReeQ remarked she felt instant dread because she knew whatwas to happen next.

And then came the tsunami. The people screamed and ran for their lives. The influx of water was massive towering high above the boats and people. I and the other FReeQ commenting believed their chances of survival were zero. Maybe there were survivors - it just didn't look possible.

I was stunned and horrified. I would not have watched footage of people dying if I had some warning. I think we viewers align and celebrate the survival of those on the beach, and some of us almost share in their moment of horror as they recognize the tsunami, and we watch what looks like shocking death. Note that THIS is what Q) The Storm Rider wanted us to watch; he/they implied it would 'help' us know what is going to happen next.

My first impression was that Q) The Storm Rider (QTSR) was probably engaging in 'lulz'. Sociopathic groups on the internet 'play' psychological games on people - some form communities where they try to top each other for the 'lulz' (laughs). This can be a group member (or a few members) working together (e.g., joining an online chat and pretending to be suicidal - asking for help - waiting  for the posts of support and caring to come in, and then the lulz member claiming that they now feel worse than before and there's nothing left for them in life....etc.). The 'lulz' consist of pride in 'having fun' at directing the emotions of others (grief, gladness etc.) like an orchestra conductor directs musicians, who in response make him the center of their rapt attention.

I do recall reading an article where such a 'lulz' group had a member sign the  online remembrance book for the funeral of a teenager (suicide?) by writing, "We always hated him anyway - we're glad he's dead."

The 'lulz' enacted by signing the book of remembrance 'conducts' others emotions for sport (power). First the family is comforted to see another name in the remembrance book (sigh), and then they read the cruelty in the comment. (horror?)

The uplifting part of the 'lulz' is only performed to make the drop that much more painful. It's not only 'lulz' groups that 'conduct' the emotions of others. DS plants do that to emotionally roller coster people with hope of near victory until they give up and 'quit' hoping. I happen to think JOS is in that group; not for lulz but for the purpose of absorbing attention with continuous distractions and updates, thereby fatiguing the hopes of people until they despair.

That manipulated 'emotional bump' - uplift followed by karate chop to the heart - makes me suspicious in the QTSR video. His posts tend to fan anticipatory excitement (or they used to back then) and there can be lulz (e.g., I have them all believing that it's gonna happen next week! Look how many viewed my post!). Continued attention he/they receive would be 'lulz' in some of those circles, like starting a fake online business or support group.

This no doubt seems too 'dark' an analysis for QTSR to many, if not all reading. But there's something 'off' about QTSR getting people to watch what appears to be the deaths of of a group of hopeful people by implying that this is what comes next. QTSR'S tsunami post 'feels' like a lulz ploy - tempted to watch to see what happens next IRL, shown a hopeful scene, shown hope was false and everyone died (or appeared to).

Many of those who watch, and compassionately invest in, the victims as they experience intense relief and help each other; we get that 'uplift',  followed by their  screams, horror, running and seeming inescapable deaths.

If QTSR is supposed to be legit, what did that video post mean? His/their decision to post it shows they weren't concerned that it was disturbing; why not? Posting the video seems morbid, even if QTSR were sincere. I was horrified and felt deceived into watching 'death porn' (watching deaths for 'entertainment'. Some people do it.) That would be a lulz.

Were we to think those (innocent) people were representative of the DS who thought they were safe and then the tsunami of justice 'took them out'?  If so, it didn't happen when he warned us to get ready for it years ago (he doesn't have intel) and it was reckless to suggest it, unless it was emotionally manipulative. QTSR was wrong in a pointlessly morbid fashion.

Did QTSR intend for the victims to represent the White Hats? I mean, they were fighting for their lives and appear to be innocent people to root for.

Whatever he meant the tsunami to represent - it didn't happen and that was an epic failure by a supposed 'anon' with inside info. Like others, he/they are reading the same content we are. If we wanted to we could claim to have insight and get some things right and some things wrong, too. At minimum QTSR has no inside source or heightened analytical skills that interest me.
