There is nothing illegal about the Dark Web as it stands, illegal activity takes place on the Dark Web, but the Dark Web itself is not illegal.

If I were someone who was on the Dark Web regularly, I would get something like a Linux based cheap computer and do nothing but surf the Dark Web.

I use something called a Raspberry PI which costs less than $200 and is a fully functional Linux based computer. if somehow that machine gets corrupted, I can easily generate a
new Micro SD card and be backup in 10 minutes.

The few times I’ve been on the Dark Web, I’ve seen sites that sell every kind illegal drug imaginable, I’ve seen sites that sell any kind of computer hacking took you can think of, basically anything and everything is for sale and Bitcoin is the method of payment.

The regular internet is basically the same, except on the Dark Web it’s virtually impossible to trace packets to their origin and combined with Bitcoin it’s extremely difficult to know who is buying what and and who is selling it.

Thanks for all the info. you’ve cleared up a lot of things about it that I have been curious about. I can see that it’s not for me. I like my privacy, and it’s scary how intrusive Microsoft is getting with info, but I don’t think I have any need for the DW.
