'76, 101 laps.
Soggy mess inside the 1st turn. Brought my GF. Laid down a blanket next to the fence, went back to get the cooler. Came back to find her curled up in a ball, staring at a passed out drunk on the blanket.
Kicked him awake and he wandered off. Race started, stopped, had Art Arfon's Green Monster jet engine car out trying to dry the track...

Impressive!
Johnny once showed me the ring he wanted. He had it all picked out ahead of time. I think that was in November of 2018, as he was making a big delivery that year, so we had a lovely conversation.
He was on the Castroneves pit crew in 2021 for his ring. How about you?
