Hmmmm. . . How did these particular countries respond to Germany and the slaughter of Jews in the 1930s and '40s?
The word "neutral" comes to mind. Curious, no?
Norway collaborated with the Nazis via the Quisling regime. Spain expelled all its Jews in 1492 and Franco was a fascist, though they claimed neutrality. Ireland has always hated Jews. They supported the Germans in both world wars to stick it to the British. Nothing “neutral” about any of them.
