Eep. I had NO idea about that :-/ One of my friends is a professional Santa (he even has the real full beard) and his real job is owner of a respected welding company. I had him in mind when I generated this.

Years ago the family was heading east and stopped at Wall Drug. There was a “cowboy” doing some sort of act. Old-timer type guy, on the heavy side, long white hair and long white beard. We watched it, and afterwards my wife goes up to him.
“Um - you look VERY familiar - do you happen to be in the Seattle area around Christmas time?”
In his best cowboy drawl - “Why yes I do ma’am - although I ain’t always wearing flannel if ya catch my drift.”
We brought the kids over to meet him. That Christmas they sat on his lap (same Santa for numerous years) and he remembered them!
