One red flag is that the statement mentioned family members and friends, but not specifically his fiancée, Christiana Ritchie. Murray and Ritchie lived together in Florida, and were to be married in “Spring 2024.” Ritchie also traveled with Murray to many of his tournaments. Which begs the question, was she with him this week? Was there an argument or disagreement that might have triggered him? Prior to his death, Murray evidently deleted an Instagram post speaking to his love for and appreciation of Ritchie. No matter the circumstances, an awful situation.
Sadly, some very good points. Never gave it a thought that his girlfriend hasn’t been mentioned. It is a hard road to complete recovery and eight months is just the beginning, a breakup could have been pivotal in his recovery. Something went wrong and just a mountain he couldn’t climb.
