Don’t know anyone who died from the shot. A deacon in our church who sat in the pew behind us for years died April 2020 of Covid. He lasted about 12 days after he came down with it. He was about 65.
Wife and I had the shots, no issues. Had Covid a year or so later, no issues, more like a bad cold that lasted a week or so. Maybe the vaccine made it milder than it would have been otherwise.
