Florida goes not allow open carry unless hunting, fishing or camping or shooting. You can open carry to/from these activities but be sure to conceal or stow it in your vehicle if you decide to stop for coffee.

Also, why give up the advantage of concealment? Open carry makes you the primary target in many situations.
