Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared tired and rundown during a recent press conference during which he said he was open to negotiating a ceasefire with Ukraine.
Putin was joined on Friday by his closest ally in Europe, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, for a press conference in which the pair discussed the ongoing war against Kyiv, domestic nuclear drills and their continued cooperation.
The Russian President who is turning 72 in October, looked worn down during the event, although no report of ill health has emerged in recent weeks.
The health condition of Putin has been the subject of speculation and rumours for years, with the first major report being released in 2005 and including a claim he had suffered a stroke.

Rumours about Putin's health have been fuelled by videos filmed during his public or work appearances, in which he, at times, appeared to be gripping a table for support, tapping his feet or looking unsteady.

Patrushev was replaced as Secretary of the Russian Security Council by Shoigu last week. Patrushev is in his 70s. It was a retirement for him and a promotion for Shoigu.
This leaves Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council (Putin is Chairman) as 2nd in command behind Putin, followed by Shoigu. Medvedev’s quotes would be wise to examine:
