Last I heard the FBIC had taken the laptop away to its evidence storage facility.
You know the alphabet agency --- formerly the Federal Bureau of Investigation, now the Bureau of Information Control.
IMO The laptop is doomed to be lost forever. Any copies would be COPIES, inadmissable as evidence.
