The police officer who put world No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler in handcuffs has a lengthy disciplinary record that includes multiple suspensions, employment records revealed Thursday.

Also, Louisville PD has numerous wrongful use of force claims against it. Seems this is a pattern for them.
The jerk in question here is Detective Bryan Gillis.
Well, it’s not like he shot him or something. LOL
Louisville is a mess. They elected their umpteenth far left mayor in forever. The PD has been a clusterfark for years.
The murder rate (mostly on the west side of town) is ridiculous. Although the crime is spreading into the areas where the leftist whites are starting to feel it and suddenly they are now concerned.
The city trashed local businesses during the ScamDemic, thank you very much.
All sad, because Louisville has the potential to be a great city. But the people overwhelming vote left at every level and still don’t get it.
As I understand it, early morning darkness, raining, the officers identity obscured by a yellow vest that may have made him appear to be normal gate security. But if Scheffler didn’t understand while he was jumping the line, I get the impression he didn’t have much of a conversation with Gillis. So I think Scheffler deserves some amount of blame.
I think the detective has been watching too many of those live PD car chases. So much so he may have forgotten he was not in a SUV when he tried the PIT manuver with his leg.
Right! One of the infractions “driving an intoxicated civilian” in his vehicle and then proceeding to do donuts in the parking lot of a business. WTH??
Based on the initial reports, I thought that this was a case where 2 a-holes bumped into each other in a stressful situation, and one of them had a badge. I haven’t seen anything to change that first impression since then.
A lot of the smaller departments are having problems retaining officers because of pay. In my sons department there are 22-24 officers and many are considering moving to better paying departments, none of them would touch Louisville or Lexington PD with a vaccinated crowbar though. He’s been an officer for going on four years and barely makes over $15 an hour. $15 to potentially get shot at, killed or injured for life each shift. He can make that or more starting at the local Walmart.
His department and the cities fire department are about to take significant loses in officers because they won’t pay their officers a decent salary. He likes his department but can go to KY State Police and start at $65K a year.
Obviously if one of 'their tribe' is arrested it's the fault of the police officer. American 'white liberal elites' feel they're above the law.
This whole episode is a stain on the sport... and it's disgusting.
Scotty also said that another officer had told him to jump the line and proceed to the players’ entrance (he had a marked tag showing he was a player).
So, there seems to be some miscommunication between the officers at one end of the wreck scene and the other end of the wreck scene that primarily caused this whole situation.
Also, the accident was a quarter of a mile away, at another entrance gate.
Check the satellite map.
"Dopie" Gillis was being a mall cop.
No, in this case you are a disgusting ass—le, do a little homework before you make such a knee jerk reaction again.
The cop lied in his sworn statement. Video proves it. He should be fired on the spot.
That was just plain wrong to expect Scottie to act like a regular citizen. He’s way more important than we are and shouldn’t be slowed down by a lowly cop
“That was just plain wrong to expect Scottie to act like a regular citizen. He’s way more important than we are and shouldn’t be slowed down by a lowly cop””
Your cop lied on his report. You’re supporting a liar.
A foul ball and a short fuse. He would have been dumped by many depts. with a record like that.
Seems you are determined to hate Scheffler. Arrest video shows he was nothing but compliant. The cops story has been directly contradicted by eye witnesses and he has a record that indicates reckless and overzealous policing. The fixed traffic cam shows Scheffler’s vehicle creeping along from the middle of the bus to his stopping point.
I’ve seen nothing to indicate anything other than Scheffler’s description of events which is that he drove as previously directed by the traffic detail cops and didn’t realize he was driving counter to police instructions until the cop ran up and banged on his window.
