It’s a safe bet that the thug in question has done this before and it’s also a safe bet that he’s murdered people under color of authority. I will take you up on that bet. Police shootings are not common. We will know the officer's name in short order, if the charges are not dropped.
The officer's history will become available for all.
My bet is the officer has never killed anyone.
The officer may be a bully. The officer may have bad judgement.
The vast majority of police officers never kill anyone.
