I think that you are wrong about the locations. The fatal accident happened about a quarter of a mile from where Scotty Scheffler was driving. He was much closer to the entrance to the golf club than where the shuttle bus hit the pedestrian. Of course the propaganda media wants it to seem like Scheffler was getting in the way of the investigation of a fatal accident.
In reality, it was in the dark, in the rain and in unusual traffic patterns. Many of these golf clubs are in old money neighborhoods where the streets are small, not designed for heavy traffic.
The PGA Tour also removed an annual Tournament from Trump Doral and changed it to Mexico. Miami had hosted a tournament for 60 years but because of Trump’s comment …. they are not sending their best people … PGA tour accused him of racism and canceled.
The British Open has a rotating set of golf courses. Trump upgraded the Turnberry course to be one of the most beautiful anywhere. They canceled Trump out of the rotation.
The head of the PGA Tour back when all this was happening had an early career job working in the Jimmy Carter White House. That tells me all I need to know. I hope whoever is in charge now does not have the same hatred for Donald Trump.
PGA stole tournament wins from Dustin Johnson and others .. one was via a waste area on the 72nd hole of the 2010 PGA championship that fans had been walking thru / standing in.
PGA official deemed it a bunker - 2 stroke penalty by David Price - who said it took a while to get the crowd out of the sandy waste area.
Chad Reynolds, Nick Watney’s caddie said - Nick and I were wondering why Price was standing with us and not with Dustin. There are pictures of the three of them in the fairway during the commotion. They were wondering why the rules official - David Price was so far away.

I don't know what happened that day but I can tell you about my experience getting directions from a cop. I was a passenger in a car driving slowly through the center of a small town. We were stopped at an intersection when a very irate cop started hollering directions. We did what he told us to do and he went berserk. Either he was having a left-right confusion or suffering from roid rage but he wrote the driver a big ticket. We all went to court for the driver and the case was dismissed.
I've. always had very positive interactions with police but some people have had some very bad experiences. This particular cop had his own company that provides 'expert' police witnesses in accident cases. I suspect he was excited about the prospect of supplying police experts when the family of the man who died was sued.
I don’t think Scheffler knew about the fatal accident until later.
