I would not want to be the police department that has to pay financial damages for this. And doubling down demonstrates malice, wreckless disregard of the ongoing damage that they are doing to this man’s career, reputation and also the financial damages to the PGA tour. Whatsay, a couple hundred million $$, trebbled.
That right there is a big part of the problem. The judgment should first come out of the miscreant cop's hide. Make abusive cops pay directly for their own abuses, and the abuses will stop in short order.
