RoboCop is a cyborg. I’m thinking of 2001:A Space Odyssey, I, Robot, A Murder at the End of the World, to name a few. Right now it seems the only references we have (if we can call them that) are science fiction writers’ depictions of AI. Good references and I generally agree.
With the Robocop reference, I was thinking of the RoboGuard outside of the company headquarters (I forget what it was called). It was operating on a flawed and totalitarian rule base. There was no appeal.
