Does anyone know how Gen Z men are supposed to respond to this scenario? My son did find a nice girl to go out on two actual formal dates. They texted back and forth as well. But he noticed that he always had to initiate the contact, every time.
His buddies told him that he shouldn't bother any more. My instinct is that they are correct. If she was interested she would make some effort to contact him first occasionally. Yet, she could be shy, could be a typical Gen Z thing, maybe she thinks the man should be the only chaser? I am not good with women (autism spectrum doesn't help), so I am unsure of my advice.

He should move on.
A girl knows within the first 5 minutes if she is attracted to a guy.
Low effort women are not worth the effort.
