Artists can be a treacherous lot, with many Leftists and weirdos among them. Even when dealing with such people, it does not speak well of the House of Windsor and its fabled machine of image protecting staff and loyalists that they cannot assure that the portraits of royals that they sanction are at least accurate and inoffensive.

I'm gonna LMAO when they cast some coal black actress to play Meghan Markle, --a woman who passed so well as white that nobody knew she was black until they were told she was.

It is a very dry and has no movement or animation. I know it is supposedly a painting, but a good artist can actually pick up on all of that and portray it on canvass.

I think it would be wise of this woman to quit trying to sell it as capturing her soul. It is kind of an insult.

Or maybe that is what this woman thinks of Kate’s soul. I wonder if the Harkles sent her the way to the palace. lol

Right, everything is fine but the all-important face. Many old portraits used a generic everything else, but then made the face uniquely as like the person they were portraying as possible.

Here it is just smudged out - severe - like she just stubbed her toe and said “poop” or something. A real insult.
